I always get excited when I have to talk about Korean Dramas. This is something which I can talk to you guyz for hours.

Boys over Flowers is one of THE most popular Korean dramas of all time.It is a 2009 south korean tv series which aired on KBS2 on 5th January to 31st March 2009.It is based on Japanese manga series Hana Yori Dango. The story revolves around a poor but courageous school going girl who attracts the attention of four rich and handsome boys known as F4.

Kim So-eun

The story is about four handsome and rich boys called as F4 or ‘Flower Boys’.They are considered as the king of Shinhwa High School.

They are really good-looking and way too  rich..:P

Students who don’t listen to them or follow their instructions are punished by the F4 leader Gu Jun Pyo(Lee Min-Ho) by giving them a red card.

Geum Jan Di(Ku Hye-Sun) who is poor but because of her good deeds and as a result she gets a chance to study in an elite school where she meets the F4.

I mean she was both fortunate and unfortunate at the same time.
What do you guyz think?

She was able to withstand all of the pranks played by Jun Pyo and amidst all of this Jun Pyo falls in love with Jan Di.

Literally proud of her!! 😛

Now due do some family reason they had to sacrifice their love and the other F4 members tries to bring them together.

That is so sad!! 🙁

This drama made me feel upset as well as frustrated and at the same time happy.
I mean so many emotions in one go.
It felt really good..:)

Boys Over Flowers is one of my personal favourite drama and most of all this is the first ever drama I watched.
Trust me this korean drama and other korean dramas in general became an obsession for me!!

“I love this obsession of mine” 🙂

The chemistry between the leads is great plus the storyline is also nice.It portrayed the life of all the F4 members and their background stories, about how complex their lives can be.

Furthermore, this drama tried to focus on all the characters in an amazing way which made it even more than just a rich guy and poor girl love story.

By the way I am a huge fan of love stories.

OMG the best part is the background music and songs which were too good.To know if it has a happy ending or a sad one,you know what you need to do.

Leave all your work and just go watch it..:)
Who knows you will become a drama lover just like me?

Yoo In-na
Yook Sung-jae

Kim Shin(Gong Yoo) is an immortal goblin and protector of souls. He lives with a grim reaper(Lee Dong-wook) who is in charge of taking deceased souls.

I know I know fantasy drama but still it has an element of love in it, which I am sure you guyz will love to watch.
I think for a change fantasy drama is not at all bad.

Agree or Disagree?
Ok lets carry on 😛

Kim Shin is fed up of his immortality and wants to end it but he needs a human goblin’s bride to end his life.Later he meets Ji Eun-tak(Kim Go-eun) who is destined to be goblin’s bride and has the ability to see ghosts.
After few encounter they end up falling in love with each other.

See,I told you it has an element of love 🙂
Seems like I am more of a romantic K-drama lover.

This is one of the few Korean dramas which keeps us intrigued from the beginning to the end of the episodes. It takes us through the Joseon Dynasty till the Goblin reaches the mordern age and you get to see a lot of changes from that era to this modern time.

Fortunately I made the right choice to see this drama as it turned out to be quite amazing.

Now coming to the chemistry between Kim Shin(Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun-tak(Kim Go-eun),its amazing.Though the age gap is much yet they managed to maintain the chemistry.

“Love has no age bars”.Right? 😛

You will get to see an element of bromance, love, fight and many more emotions which again keeps you all curious about what will happen next 🙂

If you are looking for a different kind of a story then you can surely consider this.
Good Luck for your new found love just like me.

Lee Jong-suk
Park Shin-hye
Kim Young-kwang
Lee Yu-bi
Lee Pil-mo

Gi Ha-myeong (Lee Jong-suk) is leading a happy life with his parents and elder brother Jae-myeong, when one day due to some circumstances Ha-myeong father Gi Ho-snag dies and is also being blamed for others death.

It was really sad to watch these scenes.

This reason leads everybody to outcast Gi family and consequently Gi Ho-sang’s wife to kill herself and her younger son Ha-myeong(Lee Jong-suk).

Ha-myeong(Lee Jong-suk) is alive and is saved by an elderly man Choi Gong-Pil who is suffering from Alzheimer’s and thought that he(Ha-myeong) is his elder son Choi Dal-Po who died thirty years ago.

Though it is quite of a twisted story yet it is interesting to watch.Listen to what happens next…….

Choi In-Ha(Park Shin-hye) has “Pinocchio” syndrome which causes her to hiccup whenever she lies. When Dal Po discovers In Ha’s mother (Jin Kyung) is the reporter who blamed the attack on his family, he holds a serious grudge against In Ha(Park Shin-hye), but as they grow together his feelings change from hatred to love.

Do watch the show to know the rest!! 🙂

Pinocchio might not be everyone’s tastes as the first two episodes are a bit slow but from the third episode I am sure you will get hooked.

It has love, honest pain, friendship and it also portrays on how media can spoil a persons life through their power. Now talking about the storyline,I personally found it very unique.

Especially people who love journalism and all,I am pretty sure you will love this drama.

Both the characters did justice to their role as Park Shin-hye shines whether its a comic scene or a romantic scene whereas when it comes to Lee Jong-suk,he portrays such a cute personality.

Wish I could bring him home..:P He actually looked very handsome and cute at the same time..:)

Song Ji-hyo

Shin Chae-Kyung(Yoon Eun-hye) comes from a lower class family and is happy with her friends and her art class.
Her family suddenly informs Chae-Kyung about her marriage to the Royal family of Korea.Since Chae-Kyung grandfather once helped the King of Korea so the King decided that his grandson would marry his(Shin Chae-Kyung’s grandfather) granddaughter.

Chae-kyung recently overheard the crowned prince Lee Shin(Joo Ji Hoon) proposing his girlfriend Min Hyo-Rin(Song Ji Hyo) who rejected him because of her career.Despite this Shin Chae-kyung agrees to marry the crown prince because of her family financial issues.

In addition to that, things got complicated when she found support in Lee Shin’s cousin Lee Yool(Kim Jung Hoong) as she felt really depressed and lonely after her marriage.Later Chae-Kyung will try to overcome all the problems and hardships and will love Lee Shin.

I mean trust me I have watched this drama 5-6 times and I can watch it again. Both the characters looked so cute together.
He is a crown prince and has a bit of attitude in him and she is a commoner who is messy and has a childish behaviour.

There are a lot of cute moments which I am sure you will love to watch.

He(Lee Sin) is a kind of person who is not very expressive and at some point he also gets jealous seeing his wife spending time with his cousin which was again good to observe 😛

The show has some adorable awwww moments  🙂

I would really really want you guyz to watch this prince and princess drama which has quite a unique concept.

Ha Ji-won
Hyun Bin
Yoon Sang-Hyun
Kim Sa-rang

Secret Garden is sort of a Cinderella story where Gil Ra-im(Ha Ji-Won) who is a stuntwoman meets Kim Joo-won(Hyun Bin) who is a CEO of a high end department store.

They met due to a misunderstanding where Kim Joo-won tries to resolve a controversy for his cousin Oska(Yoon Sang-hyun) who is a famous singer.

Kim Joo-won is amazed to see how cool Gil Ra-im is and after their first meeting due to a misunderstanding, she is always on his mind.At first Gil Ra-im kept him away from herself but later on she started reciprocating to his feelings for her.

Now the complications start when Gil Ra-im and Kim Joo-won magically started to switch their bodies..:)

There is no story without a twist..Right?? 😛
Watch the funny moments which will literally make you laugh.

Secret Garden has quite a different storyline which will make people more curious to know “what will happen next?”.

Both Ha Ji-won and Hyun Bin did a great job especially when it comes to the fantasy part in the show where their bodies are switched and they had to play the role of the opposite gender,as in when Ha Ji-won had to act like a boy and Hyun Bin as a girl.

There were a lot of funny moments when their bodies were switched..:P and somehow I felt that the supporting actors did an amazing job as well.

I totally loved loved this Korean drama..:)
